Hi Everyone – if this newsletter seems like it should have come out last week, it’s because I wrote two last week to get ahead of Rosh Hashanah (I took off work – mostly of necessity).

First, some drawings – a few from my miscarriage in March that felt just too sad to publish earlier – and a few mean ones I️ drew several months ago about my husband that I wouldn’t draw now (stuff is good. I️ am grateful).

I️ am not a wonk in general, but I️ am an Ezra Klein wonk. This is a cartoon for anyone who, like me, can tell he’s smart, interesting, and usually right, and also has no idea what he’s talking about because it’s so….nuanced.

More drawings and a bunch of writing behind the paywall. Mwah, shanah tovah (have no idea what year it is on the Hebrew calendar, 20 billion?), and thank you for reading.
