Hi,
First: you can order letterpress prints here: www.lianafinck.com
and my forthcoming kids book, Mixed Feelings, here: https://amzn.to/3UIu6dF
I’ll be at Fishs Eddy (Broadway and 19th, Manhattan) starting at six tomorrow, Thurs Dec 19. They’ll be selling these mugs with my drawings on them - and I’ll be signing prints and books. You can also order things from the store by calling them: (212) 420-9020 - Extension five.
Now down to business. Gift-giving.
It’s not too late to learn the rules. Here they are:
CARDS
It’s polite to send a holiday card to everyone you know. You’ve been diligently gathering mailing addresses all year, so this won’t be very hard. Ask your stationer to help you choose an appropriate card stock and envelope size if you don’t already have strong preferences (which I’m sure you do). A border is nice, too. What should go in the card? You’ll know, as long as your heart is absolutely pure.
SMALL GIFTS: ACQUAINTANCES
Cards are for everyone you know. For everyone you like, it’s customary to send something a bit more substantial. Most adults like/care about 4,000 -12,000 people, so this is no easy feat. The simplest tactic is to buy a smallish box of chocolate for each and every person who matters to you (or should). If that seems daunting, just consider the alternative—social death.
